QUIET! The Internal Clamour
Experimentelle Musiktheater Performance

QUIET! The Internal Clamour is an experimental music theatre performance comprising of 3 performers (2 musicians – cello; synthesizer/guitar; 1 performer – voice/text) that examines, personifies and dismantles the internal artistic creative process built from the combined perspective of the 3 artists involved. The show unfolds in a nonlinear manner beginning with the idea of the creative urge, and continues through the distractions, resistances, false starts and manias that is the creative process.

QUIET! will examine what it means to be an artist, to create art, and what drives us do it. Concept conceived by Claire Blake, musically directed by Hannes Dufek, developed and performed by Blake, Dufek and cellist and performer Reka Kutas, it is a highly collaborative work built from our collective experience of what it is to make art.
