On Tuesday, May 17th, Mosaïque invites you to a program inspired by the birds and the trees: „Im Walde“. Song meets dance as works by Schubert and Mahler praising the beauty of the natural world are performed to exhilarating new choreographies, while the forest’s favorite fish makes a special appearance in Schubert’s beloved Piano Quintet in A major: „The Trout“.
Once again, we bring together a glorious group of performers, this time including baritone Johannes Held, violinist Johannes Fleischmann, violist Nora Romanoff-Schwarzberg, cellist Gundula Leitner, bassist Anna Mittermeier, pianist Deirdre Brenner and dancer Lucy Van Cleef.
In addition to the concert, we are delighted to present an exhibition by Waldraum Designs. Artist Erin Snell uses locally-sourced materials including antique lace, felted wool, spruce, and glass-clear resin to create unique modern light sculptures based on traditional Alpine trophies – no hunting required!
And in an effort to keep our entire program vegetarian and all our hungry guests happy, our friends at Food of Love (known to many from „The Bard’s Brunch“) will be offering light woodland dishes throughout the night.
As most of our concerts this season have sold out, early booking is highly recommended!!
