We are thrilled to host the legendary Norman Shetler in a one-time-only concert event to raise funds for Mosaïque!

Harkening back to a passion of his early childhood, Norman gave his first performance as a puppeteer on 1 April 1968 and quickly captured people’s attention in his quirky take on all kinds of music and performers in the concert world.

After repeated performances in Vienna’s Konzerthaus, Musikverein and Theater an der Wien, „Norman Shetler’s Musikalisches Puppenkabarett“ swiftly gained a devoted following and a quasi-legendary mystique around the world. Already an established international concert pianist at that time, he was able to use his puppets to “poke fun” at his colleagues, the public and above all himself.

As a pianist Norman Shetler performed and/or recorded with some of the music greats of the 20th century including Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Peter Schreier, Nathan Milstein, the Juilliard String Quartet, the Wiener Symphoniker under Josef Krips and many more across the USA, Europe, Russia, China and St Pölten. In the spirit of Spike Jones, Victor Borge and PDQ Bach, his intention is to show his audience a lighter side of the music performing world.

Norman has not performed this show in Vienna for nearly a decade, and those of you lucky enough to have seen it previously know that it is not to be missed! We are absolutley tickled that Norman has offered to present this program for all of us and that he will donate all proceeds from the concert to Mosaïque.

A limited number of seats will be available for this exclusive event so book your tickets soon!!
